- They're coming -

in former years I often had nightmares, in which I was pursued (by people, animals or whatever). I ran and ran, but on a certain point I decided to let it go, to give up. I sat down or lied down and waited for the death. I still can remember the feeling in this special moment: it was a feeling of freedom...

A couple of years ago... I think there are always questions we'll go through as we're growing up (I have no idea if that's what inspired this pic) and let's just say I had plenty of mine. When I started learning that there was just always something different about me from other people, whether it was the way I looked or acted in front of my peers, I would always go through these psychological and emotional rollercoasters that would leave me wanting to give up. And I always thought in some way if I admitted defeat....it would in a way make me triumphant. The funniest part about this picture is that I always used the same analogy. A monster was chasing me and ready to eat me. I just had to decide did I want to jump in it's gaping jaws or keep trying to outrun it forever? Both options had their perks which made it a hard choice.

haha, sorry for the book ;)

yeah, i think these are the two main options in life: to go on and fight or to give up. and to admitt defeat isn't always the easier way

Good colors, very stylized, and I do like the expressive brushwork :+fav::)
